Jogging in place with a game: this is how it works Rift Run
Rift Run combines rhythm, lane switching, and crouching. The course moves forward automatically; your movement keeps the run going and determines your path.
Three lanes, no jumps
The lanes occupy the width of the screen and correspond to lateral positions. You move left or right to change lanes and duck to slide under a barrier. This mode does not require jumping: Pulse Jump already offers that mechanic separately.
Keep the trot, not an impossible speed
The game seeks the movement of jogging in place. If it stops detecting it, it displays a warning before ending the game. During the glide there is room not to jog while crouching. If the reading fails, check the frame; Don't try to compensate with sudden movements.
The difficulty changes with the route
Obstacles vary between games and progress becomes faster. That adds lane and momentum decisions without requiring you to run around the room. Observe the barrier that reaches your lane and decide whether to avoid it or duck.
Record only if you decide
Video from the camera is used to detect motion on the device. Online ranking uses your public name and rating, not the video. If you want to create content from a game, decide what you're going to record and who appears: avoid showing other people or private information without their permission.
