Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current MoveRift app and website. The App Store listing may still link to an earlier policy on Notion until its links are updated. Contact support if you need help identifying the applicable version.

1. What MoveRift does

MoveRift is a body-controlled fitness arcade for iPhone. It offers six camera-controlled mini-games, exercise paths, daily challenges, leaderboards and optional online push-up duels. This policy explains the information used by the app and by this website. We do not use advertising networks or cross-app tracking.

2. Camera and movement

With your permission, the app uses the iPhone camera and Apple Vision to detect the body, face or relevant joints in real time. This powers game controls and repetition counts. Camera frames and pose analysis are processed on the device. MoveRift does not intentionally record, retain or upload camera video, photographs or pose images. You can deny or revoke camera permission in iOS Settings, but camera-controlled modes will not work without it. The current arcade running mode uses camera-observed jogging and crouching; it does not require Apple Health access.

3. Local game data

The app may store game scores, exercise repetitions, challenge progress, fitness-level choices, medals, settings and free-play use locally on your device so the experience can resume. Removing the app may remove local data that has not been stored online. The exact recovery available depends on the data type and your device backup settings.

4. Online profile and public rankings

Online features use Supabase. They may process a pseudonymous player identifier, chosen public username, selected country or region, game and daily-challenge scores, and duel-room information. The app may suggest a country from your device region; you can change it in Profile. Leaderboard visitors can see public usernames, scores and positions. Duel participants may see each other's usernames and live repetition scores. Camera images are not uploaded to Supabase. The online session may be stored in your device Keychain and may persist across reinstallations.

5. Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments; MoveRift does not receive full payment-card information. RevenueCat verifies purchases and restores Pro access. It may process Apple receipt and purchase information, an anonymous app user identifier, device type, operating-system information and last-seen time. We do not intentionally provide RevenueCat with your name or email address for this purpose. See Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

6. Website data

This static website is hosted by Vercel, which may process standard request and security logs, including IP address, requested page and access time. Your browser stores a language preference and temporary campaign attribution for this browsing session; these do not include a player account or camera footage. There are no advertising pixels or website account forms. Analytics is currently disabled. If you email us, we use the information you choose to send to answer your request.

7. Purposes and sharing

We use the information above to operate games and competitions, maintain progress, validate purchases, respond to requests and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers. Apple, RevenueCat and Supabase provide the respective payment, entitlement and online services; their infrastructure may be in other countries. Public ranking information is shared with people viewing those rankings.

8. Retention, deletion and choices

Camera frames are not retained by MoveRift. Local data remains until removed in the app where available, reset or deleted with the app. Online profiles, scores and room records remain until you use “Delete online player and scores” in Profile or contact us. Uninstalling alone does not erase Supabase records or cancel a subscription. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records under their own legal and service obligations. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings and revoke camera access in iOS Settings.

9. Your rights and security

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We use reasonable security measures, but no electronic service can guarantee complete security. Younger users should use the app with appropriate parental or guardian supervision.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, website, providers or law change. A new date will appear above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. For privacy requests and support, email sergiofervillaf@gmail.com.
