Terms of Use & EULA
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy describes the current MoveRift app and website. The App Store listing may still link to an earlier policy on Notion until its links are updated. Contact support if you need help identifying the applicable version.
1. Agreement and Apple EULA
These Terms govern use of MoveRift, a body-controlled iPhone arcade with exercise challenges, rankings and optional online push-up duels. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. They supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated by reference. Where Apple requirements or mandatory law conflict with these Terms, those rules prevail. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Exercise safety
MoveRift is a game and general wellness tool, not a medical device or a source of diagnosis, treatment or personalized medical advice. Exercise can involve strain, falls, injury and, rarely, serious health events. Consider your condition, experience, equipment and surroundings before participating. Use stable device placement and a clear safe area; stop if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual breathlessness or another concerning symptom, and seek appropriate medical help. Camera detection can be inaccurate due to lighting, clothing, position, technique, hardware or software. Do not use counts, timers, scores or rankings for medical or safety-critical decisions. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3. Eligibility and licence
You must be legally permitted to use the app and make purchases in your country. Minors require appropriate parental or guardian permission and supervision. Subject to these Terms and Apple's EULA, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control under Apple's usage rules. You may not unlawfully copy, sell, reverse engineer, bypass purchase checks, disrupt the service or infringe others' rights. Applicable statutory exceptions remain unaffected.
4. Free access and Pro
The app is free to download. Six free plays are shared between arcade games and online duels. MoveRift Pro unlocks unlimited play, exercise paths and daily challenges. The available offers are a weekly auto-renewing subscription, an annual auto-renewing subscription, and a one-time non-consumable lifetime purchase. An eligible three-day trial may appear only with the annual offer. The price, currency, taxes, trial eligibility and renewal terms displayed by Apple before purchase control your transaction. “Lifetime” means the supported commercial lifetime of this app and the purchasing Apple Account, not the purchaser's lifetime or a guarantee that the service will remain available forever.
5. Billing and cancellation
Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before expiry. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Trials, refunds, billing disputes and purchase restoration follow Apple's displayed terms and applicable law. Nothing here limits mandatory refund or consumer rights.
6. Rankings and online play
Your chosen public username, country selection and scores may be visible in leaderboards. Duel opponents may see your username and live repetition score. You must not use abusive, misleading or infringing names, manipulate scores, interfere with matchmaking or harass other players. We may remove inappropriate content or restrict abusive access where lawful. Internet connection and third-party services are required for online modes; availability is not guaranteed.
7. Results and service changes
Levels, medals, scores and streaks are motivational game features. No particular fitness, health, weight, strength or performance outcome is promised. We may rebalance or change games, challenges, detection, rankings and online features, subject to applicable law and Apple's rules for paid access. The app may not work on every device or operating-system version and may occasionally be unavailable.
8. Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, perfect counting or fitness results. To that same extent, the developer and suppliers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or progress, or harm arising from unsafe exercise, misuse, inaccurate detection or unavailable third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the app in the twelve months before the event or the minimum required by law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for fraud or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited.
9. Third-party services and intellectual property
Apple supplies the App Store and billing; RevenueCat manages purchase entitlements; Supabase supports online profiles, scores and duels. Their own terms and policies may apply. The MoveRift name, software, artwork, copy and game content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No right is granted beyond the limited licence above.
10. Termination, law and changes
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict access for material violations, fraud or security needs, subject to applicable law. Spanish law governs these Terms except that mandatory consumer rules and jurisdiction rights in your country remain unaffected. We may update the Terms with a revised date; if law requires consent for a material change, we will request it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as applicable under the Apple Standard EULA.
11. Contact
For questions, support or a concern you would like to resolve informally, contact sergiofervillaf@gmail.com. This does not restrict your right to contact a regulator, consumer authority or court.
