How many push-ups a day: start with a goal you can repeat
There is no daily figure that works for everyone. The starting point depends on the technique, your experience, rest and how you feel today.
A game number is not a training recipe
A twenty-rep mark may be a fun challenge, but it doesn't tell you how many push-ups you should do tomorrow. Two people can record the same number with different ranges of motion, pace, and effort. Decide first which variant you can perform with control; then use the counter as a record, not as a judge of your health.
Choose a variant and a manageable session
If a push-up on the floor is too demanding, consider an adapted variation and consult a reliable technique guide. The NHS outlines strength exercises that can be started gradually, including bending against a wall. Don't assume that all variants will be recognized equally by the MoveRift camera: check the framing and count before using it as a reference.
Let the technique decide when to stop
Don't turn every session into a test to the limit. If you lose control or pain appears, stop and review the activity. An app's timer doesn't know your history and can't decide if you should continue. If you have an injury or medical condition, seek professional guidance before pursuing a demanding challenge.
Use MoveRift to register, not to force you
Push-up routes offer progressive goals and milestone medals. You can leave a session and resume it whenever it suits you. For a different experience, Tower Up allows you to place blocks with a bend; The goal is the timing of the movement, not accumulating repetitions without rest.
